What is a Chevy build sheet?

A build sheet is General Motors' own assembly record for one specific VIN. For a Chevrolet it lists every RPO (Regular Production Option) code the vehicle was built with — engine, axle, packages, paint, and trim.

It's the most reliable way to confirm how a used Silverado, Tahoe, Corvette, or Camaro was originally configured — more dependable than a badge or a seller's description.

Window sticker vs. build sheet

The window sticker (Monroney label) is the buyer-facing document: plain-English equipment, packages, and the original MSRP. The build sheet is the code-level truth underneath it.

Newer Chevrolets usually still have the sticker PDF on file; for older ones the RPO build sheet fills the gap. This site retrieves whichever exists for your VIN.

RPO codes explained

RPO codes are 3-character GM option codes — Z71 is the off-road suspension package, G80 the locking rear differential, NHT the Max Trailering group. Every factory option on your Chevy has one.
