My VIN returns the wrong body style—what should I check?

I entered my VIN and the result came back with a body style that does not match my vehicle. Everything else looked right, year and model and engine, but the body description was wrong. Is this a data problem on their end or did I mistype something?

First thing to rule out is a typo. Zero and the letter O are the classic one, and VINs never use the letter O, so if you typed one that is your answer.

Second thing is that body style descriptions come from a standardized list that does not always map cleanly onto how Chevrolet markets the vehicle. A Suburban being described oddly is not unusual.

It was the standardized description, not a typo. The equipment list underneath was all correct. Thanks for saving me the panic.
