RPO — Factory equipment record identifying installed options. Browse RPO codes →

I am looking at a 2008 Corvette advertised with a long list of options and I want to verify the important ones before I fly out to see it. Which parts of the record actually matter for originality on these cars, and which are noise?

Powertrain and the performance options matter most for value. Transmission, any performance package, and the suspension content. Interior colors matter less to most buyers but matter a lot to purists.

Pull the record and compare it against the listing photos item by item. Wheels and exhaust are the two most commonly changed things, and they are easy to spot.

Did that and found the wheels do not match the record. Not a dealbreaker but it is a negotiating point now.

Exactly how to use it. Not to walk away, but to know what you are actually buying.
