Verify the transmission first. It is the single biggest value difference on a used C7 and it is the thing that is hardest to change your mind about later.

Then any performance package, the suspension content, and the exterior and interior colors if you care about originality. Photos lie about color under different light.

Add one more: compare the record against the listing photos for wheels and exhaust. Those are the two most commonly changed items and the easiest to spot.

And do it before you drive it. Once you have driven one you will talk yourself into anything.
